In-Between-ErsThe In-Between-Ers is a social group for persons in the church - married and single. In response to a question as to how the name was derived, a member jokingly replied that we are somewhere "in-between" the young and the elderly. More seriously, we feel we are "in-between" the "Mr & Mrs Group" for couples with younger children and the "Pairs and Spares" which is made up essentially of retired persons. Some in our group are still working and some of us are already retired. Our goal is to meet and eat in Christian fellowship - sometimes in members' homes, sometimes at other locations. In general we meet on the second Friday evening of the month, usually at 7pm although there are exceptions. We occasionally meet on Saturday when there is a specific place or event that is more convenient to visit on Saturday. Watch the Events calendar for the current schedule!  |
