LITURGISTS
The liturgist's role is to be a worship leader by reading scriptures at each service. Their voice and energy pull the people into worship, and they provide an enthusiastic and sincere welcome to the congregation. They also work with the pastor to make the service flow smoothly.
WELCOMING TEAM
This team includes worship Greeters, Ushers, and Bread Ministry. For more information contact the Church Office.
CARD MINISTRY
Did you know PUMC has a card ministry? If you would like a card sent to a congregational member of our church for a joy (special birthday, baby birth, etc.), a concern (thinking of you, get well, etc.) or you have a family member in the Armed Services, please call the church office to put in the request, name and address, and a card will be on the table in the Fellowship Hall the next Sunday for signatures. All members of the congregation are encouraged to sign the cards each Sunday. It means a lot to the recipient to receive a card from our church.
PRAYER CHAIN
We have four active prayer chains at this time. If you have prayer requests or would like to be part of a new chain, please contact the church office, 947-3103. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Also, if you wish to have prayer requests e-mailed to us, please send an e-mail to office@pumchurch.com. Please type "E-mail Prayer Request" in the subject box.
CHANCEL FLOWERS are given in honor of a person and/or occasion, or simply to the glory of God. A sign up chart is available on the bulletin board in the hallway near the Fellowship Hall.
HELP NEEDED!
We need volunteers to help make the coffee and beverages for the Sunday morning fellowship between the services. Please call the Church Office if you would like to help: 947-3103
