The life of the Christian is a life of love.
“30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. 31The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these." Mark 12:30-31
Love, as the apostle Paul said is “the more excellent way.” Except you cannot show the excellent way of God’s love to any person unless you demonstrate that love to them.
“Little children, let us stop just saying we love people; let us show them the reality of it by our deeds.”
1 John 3:16
How can I do this?
Simply by making yourself available to the Lord by allowing Him to use the abilities, skills or hobbies that He has given you to serve Him. Just place them into the loving hands of our Savior. Watch Him take this offering and transform your life into an instrument for His praise by sending you to minister to people who are unable to meet their own needs.
If you are willing to share your gifts and talents with someone in our church in an emergency, please complete the Talent Survey and return it to the Church Office. The Membership Team will keep track of the area you choose to serve. When needed, you will be matched with someone needing you!
